    The Breakup: What Really Happened

    446374

Learn about the story of the International Harvester Company's momentous dissolution in this 192-page, color exploration. Paul Wallem, a former executive and vendor of the company, spent two years researching and interviewing 50 IH enthusiasts, vendors, collectors, and executives to better understand the merger with Case and the reasons behind the breakup. The Breakup: What Really Happened is not just about understanding the company's fall, but a way for fans to pay tribute to the brand, which has endured far longer than the company itself. Fans of the brand continue the legacy through their passionate restoration of the IH equipment, and by participating in regional and national "red events."
